A new voice in arts, culture, and creativity, Vanguard Media sought to bring a breath of fresh air to the world of magazines. While the company was in the main a Print house, I was employed to design and build the in-house web sites.

In my time at Vanguard Media, I set up an in house Wiki, the Vanguard home site, and developed the large content management system that drove the back end of their flagship product 64 Magazine. This utilised the Joomla CMS technology. I later created the 11 Degrees South website as well. Both sites were designed to support full archiving and community building.

I was heavily involved in graphic design and information architecture, creating a system that non-programmers could use to update complex websites.
